What happens?
I offer both MINDBLAST! and HYPNOSIS! as show options.
The run-time is about 60 minutes, and can be lengthened to 90 minutes, if you need. I am flexible with regard to timing.
MINDBLAST!
MINDBLAST! is a fast-paced, fun, and amazing mind-reading presentation. You'll know you made the right decision when you hear the laughter and gasps of amazement! If you've ever seen the Amazing Kreskin, you'll understand just how amazing Don's show will be for your event!
Don can tell people what they are thinking—even before they know they are going to think it. Using a profound understanding of human nature, Don creates lasting memories in this interactive, fun-filled show experience.
The Mindblast Show is a mindreading show designed to appeal to intelligent, adult audiences who want to be mystified, entertained, and perhaps even inspired.
The show begins with a demonstration of the power of your own imagination. Guests will be stunned as they somehow seem to know what Don is thinking. Soon, the audience is eager to be part of the show—to see what they may be capable of themselves. And that's just the beginning!
HYPNOSIS!
The show starts with one or two mindreading pieces to help everyone to laugh and relax (some people can be very nervous or apprehensive about hypnosis, so this helps to lighten the mood). Nothing supernatural or anything like that: think of it as magic tricks with a mental flavor.
Then, I lead the entire audience in a few tests to see who are good candidates for being volunteers "up front." They are invited to come up, but no one is pressured: if someone refuses, their wishes are respected.
After the group is up front (usually about 10 people, depending upon the size of the audience - about 10% of the audience size is likely to be good candidates). I lead them through the program which starts "easy" and progresses from there. There are fun pieces with the whole group, such as: their shoe becomes a cell phone, feeling extremely warm then cold, seeing an alien or ghost. There are also pieces with individuals, such as: being stuck to the chair, forgetting/changing their name, hearing a little man sing in their ear, being a super-hero, the person next to them smelling awful/great.
